Quick start
- Install Security Cam on a phone (Android or iPhone) as the Camera. Optionally install the free Windows/Mac Viewer.
- On the phone that watches the room: choose Camera, start the room, note the 6-digit PIN.
- On the other device: choose Viewer, enter the PIN. Same PIN works across Android, iPhone, Windows, and Mac. Add up to four cameras.
- Works on the same Wi‑Fi, on mobile data, or when one device is on a different network - a secure relay helps when a direct peer link isn't possible.
Common issues
No video / stuck connecting - confirm both devices use the same PIN and that camera/mic permissions are allowed. On mobile data or guest Wi‑Fi, allow a minute for the connection to settle; keep the Camera phone plugged in and awake.
App closes in background - Android may sleep apps aggressively; allow battery unrestricted / foreground service prompts when shown.
Push-to-talk silent - hold the mic button; check volume and that the Camera is still in the session.
Flashlight / torch - needs a device with an LED flash (many tablets don't have one). Remote torch and camera switch are controlled from the Viewer.

Privacy & data
Read the Privacy Policy. There is no Security Cam cloud account to delete - uninstall the app to remove local data.
